I Love to Blog

Lindsay is pregnant. Dogs are good. Further bulletins as events warrant.
Just kidding. Here are some pictures of our cozy new home in Utah County, Utah. The most conservative county in the country. Sweet. Lindsay has her first of many appointments on Nov. 30th for her nine week check-up and there's a good chance we will be able to hear the heart beat. Very Cool! The baby is currently the size of a poppy seed. When he is all grown up to the size of a kidney bean he will have eyelids and webbed hands. Cute. The due date is July 7th so there's a chance he/she will be an Independence Day Baby! Of course then it will be named after a Founding Father or Colonial General. I like Artemus Ward Payeur. Lindsay just hit me.

Here are just a few pics of Lindsay and myself at the sand dunes (Sweet Shirt Lindsay!) and Park City where the Olympics were held.

The Runkles Visit to Maine

We enjoyed a visit from Marya, Ben and David a couple of weekends ago. They were up for Marya's sister's wedding. I don't have it yet, but stand by for a picture of David in his wedding tux! That's right; he definitely stole the show!
David enjoyed his time at the little park down the street from us.

He had his pick of prime pumpkin seats! We grew over 40 pumpkins this year and donated most of them to the children's wing of Maine Medical Center. Greg took them in and they used wheel chairs to transport the pumpkins up the elevators. They were quite the sight and got lots of smiles along the way. The kids loved them!

We had to graduate to a bigger toy box...Marie, do you recognize this? It used to be lime green with decoupaged pictures on top!!! Brings back memories! Mr. Potato Head is still an all time favorite though...he's hard to beat.

Before Marya, Ben and David headed to the airport we stopped to see Hannah at Starbucks. She continues to work hard at the largest and newest store in the district.

Height of Land

Part of our trip around western Maine included this spot called Height of Land . It is on Rt. 17 between Mexico and Oquossic and overlooks Mooselucmaguntic Lake. These four pictures are taken from the same spot, where the Appalachian Trail crosses Rt. 17.

That's Canada in the far background.

October Pumpkins

Meg and I took a 300 mile trip around the western part of the state on a Saturday in October. This is Coos Canyon on the Swift River. You can pan for gold here!

Rangeley Lake from rt. 17
The house that Meg, Hannah, Michael and I worked on every weekend for months in the winter of '06. It overlooks Rangeley Lake.

A good year for pumpkins

Hannah's new house

This week my best friend Megan and I went hiking at Bradbarry Mount. We had way too much fun getting "lost" on Bradbarry "Bump" and playing on the playground

Ok so here goes...I have moved into a house in Scarborough. I'm living with a friend of mine from Grappling class, Randy, his older brother Chad, and Chad's girlfriend Megan, and of course Mikito!!!! Things are going pretty well; I'm staying busy with work and class. I've started training for a Brazilan Ju-Jitsu (BJJ) tournament on December 1st!! I'm super excited about it and a little nervous. I will be rolling with other women which is something new and different for me, I'll actually get to go with people my own size!!!!!! Other then that, things are pretty mellow with me at the moment.

Okay, so I'm still learning this new system and my entry is slightly upside down (sorry!!!!) I'll figure it out soon.

Springli's Life

Hey guys!

Not too much going on here. My boss is on vacation this week so it is just me and the part time guy, Dave, in the lab. For those of you who don't know I have a job as a chemist/lab tech for the Composit Panel Association in Gaithersburg MD (about a 2hr daily commute). I test the physical and chemical properties of composit panels, nothing too exciting, but I am glad to have a job using my degree. I still work at the bar on the weekends. My life is pretty busy between the two jobs but for fun I run, go out with friends and visit the Runkles (Rya lives about 30mins away). This weekend I will be heading over to Rya and Ben's for their house warming party and next weekend my good friend Tina and I will be driving to PA to visit a good friend. Hope everyone is doing well!

Love and Prayers,
Springli
